Finally: More Twin Cities Restaurants Opening Than Going Out of Biz

Maybe this shite economy is finally turning around. According to Rachel Hutton's column for City Pages, there's a pretty fab list of restaurants already open or opening soon that I definitely plan to check out in the near future..especially Northeast Social, Tosca, King's Wine Bar, D'Amico Kitchen (that has replaced Chambers Kitchen and they've changed the name of the bar upstairs to Sid & Nancy instead of Red, White & F*cking Blue Bar, thank you baby jesus), Bar La Grasa, OM, the Barrio Taco Truck (!!) and Chef Shack Dos (!!!)

Toby Keith's deal complete with fried bologna sammys, deep fried Twinkies, a mechanical bull and country music in a new mall off of 394?? Not so much. Sorry Tobes, but I Don't Love This Bar & Grill. And I never will - you can't make me love it. This sentence is already sounding like one of your songs..I think, I've never really hard one but I can imagine. Isn't one western cheese monstros known as "Cowboy Slim's" enough for this city??
