Culture Vulture: Brief Encounter @ Guthrie Theater

I love going to the theater and don't make it there often enough..we talk about walking from our place down River Road to the Guthrie to buy cheap last minute tickets some nights, but still have yet to do that. Luckily Jeff's parents bought tix in advance and invited us to see "Brief Encounter" the other night, before the extended run ends April 10. I've seen a lot of plays at the Guthrie and this one was probably my favorite - maybe besides 1776. Loved it - the staging is phenomenal and unlike anything I've ever seen..hard to explain what they do, you have to go see for yourselves. Definitely check it out. We wanted to dine at Sea Change but ran out of time so just grabbed a quick dinner at the Level 5 Cafe before the show, which was fine, and then had some decaf coffee and scrumptious desserts at Sea Change, which is gorgeous..will definitely need to do dinner there soon.
