Olivia vs. Blair

After watching Monday's episode of "The City" I'd like to briefly rant about how Olivia and Nevan are becoming Asshats Part Deux - they annoy me almost as much as Speidi but in totally different ways. Nevan is a ridiculously pretentious chubbster who says he's straight but doesn't seem it and does absolutely nothing (except, apparently get arrested for trying to get a BJ from an under-cover cop and pay for it with oxycontin,) and Olivia is pretty, but insanely insecure, manipulative and jealous. And do these people not have any friends other than each other?? For being socialiates, their social lives seem pretty non-existent to me - ummm, you're each hanging out with your very lame cousin. All. The. Time. Jeff was watching with me and said he thought Olivia looks like she should be on "Gossip Girl," and she seems to actually think she is Blair. This LA Times article does a fantastic job of comparing the two. Kind of sad that Blair's winning - and she's made up.
