So its worked out pretty well that I had baby Gus in April, and this happens to be the earliest, warmest, most beautiful, blooming spring I've seen in Minneapolis. Taking Gus for walks along River Road and stopping at various cafes in the neighborhood has become one of my favorite things to do. And he sleeps as I wheel him around the North Loop and NE..which is fantastic. I was even able to walk down and visit my fabulous hair stylist Trisha at Brian Graham salon last week for highlights and a cut that took 2.5 hours - and he slept in his stroller the whole time. Love my little guy - he's the best.

ReplyDeleteThe North Loop itself is a bit of a concrete jungle, but you don't have to walk far (just a couple of blocks) to walk along the Mississippi!
Just be mindful of the hobos. I once startled a party of cross-dressing hobos on one of my walks to the East.
You're always just a short drive away from the beautiful lakes of Uptown and the Lowry Hill area (in case you're shopping for $2 million+ dollar homes).
