Seriously amazing movie. Nicole Kidman definitely deserved her Oscar nom for this one, maybe even the Oscar..although she already has a couple and Natalie Portman's was well deserved. It's also one of the saddest movies I've ever seen..if you watch it, get the tissues ready. I bawled like a baby. Also learned after watching that it was directed by John Cameron Mitchell who wrote and starred in "Hedwig and the Angry Inch," an off-Broadway play I saw with my friends in NYC years ago and loved. Highly recommend.
