After a lovely little weekend in MN that included watching the first Twins game of the year with friends over dinner at Sunsets in Wayzeta followed by dessert and cocktails at Bar La Grassa while Baby G slept Friday night, walking to lunch at Black Sheep, taking a Saturday afternoon spring stroll around the neighborhood then heading out to our friend's place in Chan for dinner, basketball and a ridiculous amount of laugher - like, my stomach still hurts - and a walk to Moose + Sadie's for huevos rancheros Sunday morning, Gus and I hopped on a Sun Country flight to San Diego and arrived in time to walk down by the beach, watch the sunset and have a nice little Italian dinner with my parents in Pacific Beach. Air travel really is amazing. We're chilling here in the OC all week, working, seeing besties, eating tacos, showing off Gus' mad walking skillz to my family and enjoying the 75 degree, sunny, perfect days that SoCalers are spoiled with all year round. You don't appreciate it much until you live somewhere with piles of slushy snow in and little teense buds you desperately want to turn green because you can't take anymore of the colors grey and brown..in April. So hopefully when we return Thursday, spring will have sprung a little more. Bloom, Minnesota, Bloom.
