I love taking a dip in the outdoor pool at the Calhoun Beach Club after a sweaty summer day..esp late in the evening on weeknights when there's nobody up there. It's also pretty sweet in the afternoon before 5:30 pm when you can order excellent strawberry daquaris and various cocktails by the pool, and especially Friday afternoons when my friend fourfeet spins poolside from 1-4 pm. Tonight we decided to put Gus in his first swimmy diaper and brought him into the pool - he's a total water baby and he loved it. The clouds were amazing but it looked like his first swimming experience might get cut short due to thunder and lightning. Fortunately it never happened, and by the time we went inside for a hot tub and steam, those cotton candy clouds had completely disappeared.
