..when I can finally drink a cocktail again, enjoyed outdoors in the late afternoon sun, most likely within walking distance in our neighborhood, with baby Gus asleep in the stroller next to us. Or when I make Jefe babysit so I can go out with my ladies. It's a pretty good idea..I hope they include places I actually like to go for happy hour:
Even if you've never used an iPhone for anything else, this might make it worth the investment: a free application that tells you where to find the best happy hours in the Cities. City Pages' parent company, Village Voice Media, has teamed with GoTime.com to make getting drunk after work easier than ever. Just call up the app on your iPhone (or similar technical marvel) and get a guide to local food and drink specials happening in the Twin Cities, ranked by proximity. You can click through to get details like photos, menus, and reviews, or call up a map by just rotating the list.
You can download it on iTunes, or search your app store for "Happy Hours."
