Yesterday after a much needed mani-pedi in Uptown, I decided to take advantage of the gorgeous late afternoon, mashed potato clouds filling up the sky and my ability to drive my convertible and take photos at the same time. I checked out the spring blooms to the DJ stylists of Kaskade along my new favorite route - around Lake Calhoun to Lake Harriett to Minnehaha Creek to River Road and all the way home to my roof deck for a Cinco de Mayo celebration with Jefe, complete with my home made guacamole, enchiladas and margaritas made with Tequila and Izzy's grapefruit soda - nice and refreshing.
