MINNEAPOLIS, Minn (February 16, 2009) – Spring will be in full bloom as Ignite Models & Entertainment, V2 Nightlife and Futuretime present a fashion, music and hair styling extravaganza: ENVISION: Spring 2009, featuring colorful spring collections from the Twin Cities chicest fashion boutiques, gorgeous Ignite models, an interactive hair show featuring top Minnesota stylists and music by DJs Timmay and Jevne. Kristen Aldridge of “ESPN’s Road Trip” will host this spectacular evening. ENVISION: Spring 2009 will also be the official launch party for Ignite Models Inc, now a full model management agency. A portion of the proceeds will benefit The Young Survival Coalition, a breast cancer research fund. ENVISION: Spring 2009 will be held on Saturday, April 11, 2009 in the grand ballroom of the modern and sophisticated Graves 601 hotel in downtown Minneapolis. Bright spring fashions for men and women, glamorous decor, classic cocktails and a gorgeous crowd will make ENVISION: Spring 2009 the can’t-miss event to kick off the spring season.

ENVISION: Spring 2009 will feature an Interactive Hair show featuring 15 stylists from Rocco Altobelli, Moxie and other local salons. They will collaborate with the 15 Envision designers, in an environment where the stylists will actually work live in front of the audience. Each Envision designer will produce an iconic item that embodies their spring line, and they will be paired up with one of the stylists, whose responsibility will be to complete the look. They will draw inspiration from the designs, and be judged not only on their technical and creative skills, but also on their ability to truly embody the clothing through the hair.

Two high-energy runway shows will exhibit brand new spring collections from several Twin Cities based designers and boutiques including: Amanda Christine, Bothdol fashion by Nyamal Both, Cliché, Drama, Jenny Carle, Joynoelle, Kjurek Couture, kru$h velvet, Local Motion, Peloria, PFT Couture, Re-evolution by Sarah Holm, Renate, Russell Bourrienne and V-State. Moxie Salon, Rocco Altobelli’s, and L. Mae Artistry will provide hair and make up for the models. DJ Timmay will get the models to strut their stuff on the runway to a mix of house, rock & electro and Minnesota’s own superstar, DJ JEVNE will play a very special DJ set of deep house from 12:45 until 2 am. Doors will open at 9:00 pm and the interactive hair show will take place from 9:00 - 10:45 pm. The runway show will be in two parts – the first at 11:00 pm and the second at 12:00 am. Tickets will be $20 in advance, $20 day of show before 10:00 pm, $25 after.
