About Aegis Foundation
The Aegis Foundation is committed to helping the vulnerable, needy, underserved, and imperiled youth plan, prepare and focus on education. They are a resource for youth to inspire dreams, create leaders and provide scholarships for continuing education. Aegis Foundation believes they can reclaim the shaping of today’s seemingly forgotten youth by giving them back their livelihoods and getting them off the streets. They work in conjunction with many youth-focused organizations to support and motivate these children to give them back what’s left of their childhood and prepare them for a healthy, responsible, and productive life.
About Project Healthy Smile
Project Healthy Smile works with children’s organizations globally. Children are educated on oral health. Education includes the importance of dental health, diet and proper home care techniques. Educational models, visuals and activities are used to keep children engaged in learning. Caregivers are educated and given the tools to aid in the continuation of program sustainability. Dental supplies such as toothbrushes, toothpaste and floss are provided for children to stay compliant with oral health. Children also receive professional fluoride treatments. PHS continues to work with organizations and replenish dental supplies as needed.
