WHO:
Franco Meschini is an accomplished and prolific 18-year-old Argentine artist, singer songwriter who attends DeLaSalle high school in Minneapolis. He has been singing since the age of 8, playing guitar since age 10 and began writing at age 15 in his hometown of Mendoza, Argentina. He has performed in Argentina and on Chilean television, as well as multiple small music venues in the Twin Cities. His original music can be found on iTunes and he plans to release a full-length album within the next year.
Soulful songstress Sophie Peters is a talented 16-year-old student at Benilde St. Margaret who has been writing, recording and performing live shows throughout the Twin Cities for the past three years. She covers artists such as Joss Stone, Amy Winehouse, Natasha Bedingfield and Duffy. Sophie is currently collaborating on writing original material for her upcoming album.
Brennan Wedl is a 15-year-old indie singer/songwriter born and raised in Minneapolis. She records music under the name of Drew Brennan. Her sound and style have been known to resemble artists such as Ingrid Michaelson, Pricsilla Ahn, and the Cranberries. Brennan writes and composes her original songs for the acoustic guitar and piano. She is passionate about music and hopes to pursue a career in musical performance and composition.
WHAT:
Live performances by each of the singer/songwriters individually - featuring a mix of popular music covers and original compositions - with several collaborations between the talented teens throughout the evening.
