Minneapolis, MINN. (November 21, 2016) - Nyempls.com is thrilled to ring in the new year with the Black & White Ball: NYE 2017 at the newly renovated Hyatt Regency Hotel on Nicollet Mall in downtown Minneapolis on Saturday, December 31st.
Nyempls.com - the creators behind last year's sold-out Studio 54 NYE event which was featured nationally on NBC’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve with Carson Daly – have a glamorous evening in store, based on the famous 1966 bash that was considered "the party to end all parties".
Fifty years ago, the renowned writer Truman Capote held the Black and White Ball in New York City's Plaza Hotel. The glitterati was out in full force as Hollywood starlets mingled with Presidents and socialites. Deemed "The Party of the Century", if you weren't invited, you simply left town.
This New Year's Eve, fashionable guests will celebrate the glamour and opulence of the original Black & White Ball while bringing it forward into 2017 with the high-end production and exciting party atmosphere this event has become known for. Attendees are encouraged to don their finest New Year's Eve attire and enjoy an evening of sparkling spectacles and thumping dance beats in a high-energy party setting. They can leave the cares of the last year behind as they are immersed in the romance and excitement of a bygone era brought to life.
Over-the-top production, live performance artists and dramatic decor have become landmarks of this thrilling event. Guests will enjoy three rooms of music playing disco, dance, funk, top 40, old school, house and soul. The DJ Line up for the evening includes Brother Jules, Brownie, Chuck Love, D Mil, Jeff Swiff, King Otto, Mike Mack, and Strangelove.
Doors for this event will open at 8:00 for VIP guests, who are invited to enter through an exclusive VIP entrance with expedited check-in and complimentary coat check. From 8:00-9:00, VIP guests will be greeted with a complimentary glass of champagne. General admission guests can start their evening at 9:00.
