I <3 cupcakes. So I was quite happy to work with the ladies who started Miel y Leche cupcake catering for my VimLab Lounge at The Affair last fall - they generously donated a few plates of yummy mini-cupcakes that were gobbled up in about 2 seconds flat. Their
Cake Eater Bakery opened a couple of months ago in the Seward neighborhood, which I discovered is an easy little drive down River Road from my loft. If I weren't such a lazyarse I could probably bike or walk there, but I chose to take the roof off the baby bug and cruise down the river slowly with Gus in the back when I checked it out a few weeks ago. I definitely plan to make it one of my rotating virtual offices as they have free wifi, delicious iced coffee, a great outdoor patio and of course, fancy cupcake creations galore. Yum.
