I've always had a bit of a sweet tooth, but this little bun in my oven is demanding more sweets and pastries than I've ever eaten in my life - not that I mind. I've also always loved cupcakes, so I'm happy to hear about the new Sweets Bakeshop in the Highland area of St. Paul. And am thinking I might just have to journey across the river to try some of these delectable flavors such as Kettle Korn, Lemon Buttercream, Lavender and Grapefruit Sparkler. I'll have to try them for myself but think we may have just found our own version of Cali's famous Sprinkles cupcakes. I tried a basic vanilla Sprinkles cupcake last time I was home in the OC and it was definitely good but was too sweet and frosting filled to finish. I probably should have tried a more interesting cupcake..and now I can, at Sweets.
