Stop the presses..I have "shocking" day old news: Ricky Martin (finally) dropped the "bombshell" that he's gay. Which is totally cool, and totally obvious to anyone who has ever seen him perform. I don't spend a lot of my time thinking about Ricky Martin, but I am glad he exists for a couple of reasons:
1. The fact that my friend Gilly, for some strange reason, can dance exactly like Ricky Martin. Which is hilarious at weddings, or really, any time. Most of our friends got married in the early half of the 2000s when Ricky's music was mucho caliente and we made sure to request the wedding DJs play some Ricky, get a few cocktails in Gilly and watch him go. Of course I made sure this happened at my own wedding, and it was awesome - even leading to this photo:
2. He let the world meet one William Hung..which needed to happen. With "no professional training," Ricky inspired Will to shake his bon bon and give us this little morsel of hilarity:
