I'm excited to be a part of this huge event the weekend of November 7 & 8 - we are expecting 10,000 people and I plan to overload on chocolate, cupcakes, cheeses, a little vino, coffee, electronic music and fashion all weekend. I suggest you do the same.
Please join us in the ultra swanky VimLab & Ignite Models Lounge - part of The Expo at The Affair with the Chocolate Extravaganza on Saturday, November 7 & Sunday, November 8 from 10:00 am - 6:00 pm each day at the Minneapolis Convention Center. Sample wines, cheeses, chocolates and luxury foods, be inspired by personal chefs, interior decorators and holiday party planning experts and shop for holiday gifts at The Expo, then come chill out in our gorgeous Chic Street designed Lounge. We'll be sampling wines from Bell Boy Distributors and cupcakes from Miel y Leche and their bakery Cake Eater, opening soon.
Ignite Models will be hanging in our lounge all weekend - getting ready for their fashion shows during The Style, taking photos with guests in our Interactive Photo Booth and listening to the sweet beats of DJs Matt Esse, Monte Hilleman, Shiek, Jevne, fourfeet and Timmay.
Entrance to the VimLab & Ignite Models Lounge is free with your ticket to The Expo - $25 in advance, $30 at the door. A portion of the proceeds will benefit the Make-A-Wish Foundation of Minnesota.

What happened to The Twin Cities Chocolate Extravaganza?
After five years of substantial growth and development,” The Twin Cities Chocolate Extravaganza” was sold in December 2008 and has been incorporated and re-branded into a luxury entertaining event called the Affair. Approximately 30% of the Affair will still include chocolates- chocolate lovers are welcome! The popular chocolate fashion show, chocolate/pastry competition, and wine tasting will continue to be part of this year’s event.
How much of the auction ticket cost goes to Make-A-Wish Foundation of Minnesota?
Over the past 4 years, The Twin Cities Chocolate Extravaganza donated approximately $20,000 to MAWF through an auction at the Expo. 100% of every auction dollar collected is donated. the Affair has chosen to continue this tradition and is projecting to raise $10,000 at this year’s auction.
