The Business of Beauty - Unveiled

Tuesday, March 8, 2016 at Cambria

                   Minneapolis, MINN. ( February 11, 2016) – Fashion Group International of Minneapolis-St. Paul (FGI-MSP) will present The Business of Beauty - Unveiled beauty panel on Tuesday, March 8th, 2016 from 6-8:30pm at the Cambria showroom in downtown Minneapolis.

This event will bring together FGI-MSP members and guests with a prestige beauty panel that will give their perspective on the relevance, allure, and strategies of the growing business of luxury beauty products and services. This event is hosted by the local organization as it builds toward its 80th anniversary celebration this year. 

The event panel will include moderator, Jon Charles, owner of Jon Charles Salon, Faatemah Ampey, NAHA winner and speaker, Julie Swenson, agency owner and author, Elizabeth Dehn, lifestyle writer and Beauty Bets Blog, Jessica Mae, founder and creative director for WarPaint International Beauty Agency, and Charlie Brackney, co-founder of Haus Salons and Blowdry! Blowdry.

The Business of Beauty - Unveiled is open to the public.  Doors open with cocktail reception  and networking from 6 to 7 p.m. with the panel starting at 7pm. Advance tickets are $15 for FGI-MSP members, $20 for nonmembers and $10 for students. Fashion Group International of Minneapolis-St. Paul is the regional chapter of the worldwide organization.  Its membership is comprised of people working in the fields of design and aesthetics  – fashion, décor, floral design, food, beauty, and architecture, to name a few.  The monthly events are open to the public and cover a broad range of topics and industry networking opportunities.
