(Minneapolis, MN) - November 12, 2012 - This New Year's Eve, enter an exotic realm of glamour and romance set amidst the ever-shifting sands and rolling dunes of the Sahara. We invite you to experience Midnight in Morocco at Epic Event Center on Monday, December 31st. Let the seductive call of the unknown captivate your senses as the sands of time and the year that has passed slip away. A vibrant kaleidoscope of rich hues will surround you as an exotic beat draws you to the dancefloor. Let us transport you to a rich land far away as you raise your glass in celebration of the new year.
Striking decor and an array of alluring performances paying tribute to the rich traditions of Morocco will be the landmarks of this year's celebration. Year after year, this 21+ event has proven itself to be the premier New Year's Eve party in Minneapolis. This year's decadent affair promises to be the most unique and exciting New Year's Eve bash in the Twin Cities. This enchanting evening will be hosted by Carly Aplin of The CW Twin Cities.
Doors will open at 8:00 pm for VIP guests, who are invited to enter through an exclusive VIP entrance with expedited check-in. From 8:00-9:00, VIP guests will be greeted with a complimentary glass of champagne and will also enjoy an array of tempting hors d’ oeuvres provided by Ansari’s Mediterranean Grill.
General admission guests can start their evening at 9:00 pm. Spectators will be amazed by breathtaking performances presented throughout the evening by the talented Dragonfire Theater featuring a fusion of fire performances, belly dancing, and snake charmers as well as interactive off-stage performances. DJ’s performing include Benjamin Michaels, Big Mama J, Bryan Gerrard, Chico Browne, Matt Esse, Patrick James, and DJ Stretch.
Guests will also enjoy an avant garde costumed runway show produced by Ignite Models in collaboration with CostumeRentals, a combined project of the Guthrie Theater and The Children's Theatre Company, styled by Hollie Mae of HMStyling. Hair and make-up will be provided by Rocco Altobelli Salon and Day Spas. Erbert & Gerbert's will be providing complimentary late night snacks for guests after the clock strikes midnight.
Advance tickets start at $25 for GA and $40 for VIP, with prices going up after Thanksgiving. There are limited VIP booth bottle service packages available by calling 612.968.6636.
