Something Borrowed Trailer 2 by teasertrailer
My fab little wine and food loving book club just met Monday night to discuss the chick lit book "Something Borrowed," and for extra credit, "Something Blue." We all managed to read the book this time, something that doesn't happen often with all of our very busy schedules. Both books were quick- read chick lit about Rachel and Darcy..BFFs until Rachel has an affair with Darcy's fiance, which pisses Darcy off but she can't be too upset as she is also sleeping with and getting prego by her fiance's best friend, Marcus. In the second book she changes her ways, stops being a selfish, horrible beyotch and winds up with her childhood friend Ethan who is played by John Krasinski, aka Jim from "The Office." After reading the books I learned they were making a movie of each one, starring Ginnifer Goodwin as Rachel and Kate Hudson as Darcy. It sounded like good casting in theory but the trailer is not that promising..seems like the same exact role Kate has done many times and not that well..she kind of annoys me. We shall see though, it comes out in theaters in early May.
But, the movie I cannot wait to see when it comes out in mid-April is "Water For Elephants," which we also read for book club and might be my favorite book ever. I loved it, didn't want it to end, got kind of obsessed with depression-era circuses after finishing it and the movie looks phenomenal:
