Apparently Today Is "Juicy Lucy Day."

According to Metro Magazine, "Minneapolis Mayor R.T. Rybak has declared Wednesday, November 17 "Juicy Lucy Day." So what does that mean? Everyone's favorite burger with melty, cheesy goodness cooked on the inside is cause for celebration. The 5-8 Club has been gearing up all month (even dubbing November "Juicy Lucy Month") with contests, cookouts and some famous shout-outs.

Check out the Champlin location's Juicy Lucy (or Jucy Lucy, if you want to use the traditional spelling) recipe challenge at the Champlin location on Wednesday. Try local Bizarre Foods host Andrew Zimmern's take on the burger with his recipe or stop in at any of the three 5-8 Club locations (Maplewood, Minneapolis or Champlin) and get yourself one to commemorate the day.
