Beverage Of The Day: Blackberry Iced Tea

I love herbal iced tea of all varieties but lately can't stop brewing, chilling and drinking Blackberry iced tea. Also found this recipe for Blackberry Mojito Iced Tea which I will be trying soon and enjoying on my roof deck this summer: Blackberry Mojito Iced Tea:

Blackberry Mojito Iced Tea

Inspired by the popular cuban libation, this version features our Assam black tea and fresh blackberries. Assam Fatikcherra Estate, or any of our black teas, brewed double strength and cooled (2 teaspoons of leaves per 6-8 ounces of water, or 1/4 cup of leaves per 1 quart of water for 4-6 servings)
club soda
fresh mint sprigs
superfine sugar
limes
blackberries

In a tall thin glass, add a generous handful of mint leaves and 1 1/2 tablespoons of sugar. Muddle the mint by crushing the leaves against the bottom of the glass with the butt end of a wooden spoon. Add 1/3 cup of blackberries, crush lightly. Squeeze the juice of half a lime (2 quarters), add to glass. Fill with ice cubes, add equal portions of tea and club soda to fill the glass. Stir gently and serve.
