Natasha Richardson, a Tony Award-winning actress whose career melded glamorous celebrity with the bloodline of theater royalty, died Wednesday at Lenox Hill Hospital in Manhattan. She had suffered head injuries in a skiing accident Monday north of Montreal, and was flown to New York on Tuesday. She was 45 and lived in Manhattan and in Millbrook, N.Y. Full obit here.Many famous people have died in skiing accidents, hitting trees and whatnot but Natasha was in a beginners skiing class and just fell down. Truly a tragic story. I think this is why when I ski I do my wedge formation and actually got lapped by a friend when I skiied the other day. It can be dangerous biznaz.
