The 5th Annual Emmanuel Masqueray Ball presents "Setting The Stage"
May 5 gala featuring Cirque du Volo and The R Factor to benefit The Basilica Landmark
Minneapolis, MN – March 1, 2012 – On Saturday, May 5, ethereal ambiance and celestial artists performing in a visually stunning venue will create an unforgettable evening to celebrate a historic Minneapolis icon, as The Basilica Landmark presents the 5th Annual Masqueray Ball. “Setting the Stage” will take place at Aria at Jeune Lune, with proceeds benefitting needed capital improvements for the beloved Basilica of Saint Mary.
As members of the cast during "Setting The Stage," guests will browse fabulous silent auction items, dine on an exquisite three-course-meal, sip fine wine and sit in awe of their heavenly surroundings, from music in spine tingling harmony to entrancing angels and aerialists from Cirque du Volo dangling from above, with many spectacular surprises in store throughout the evening. Black tie is encouraged.
Doors open at 5:00 p.m. for a VIP Reception for sponsors, and at 6:00 p.m., registration for "Setting The Stage" and a silent auction will begin. Tickets can be purchased for the entire event or just for the “Encore”, which begins at 8:30 p.m. Guests will enjoy a signature cocktail – The Showstopper – along with Minneapolis' own The R Factor, who will take the stage and keep revelers dancing into the wee hours. At a reduced ticket price, Encore guests will still play a significant supporting role in the preservation and restoration of this historic Minneapolis Landmark. Please dress to impress.
