Weekend Highlights:

1. Early Valentine's Date Night with El Jefe: Delicious dinner at 112 Eatery where we ran into one of my former clients we hadn't seen in a couple of years..was great to catch up with him over a few drinks. Then met up with some good friends at Karma for Colette & DJ Heather and danced our arses off. I have always loved Colette but hadn't really seen Heather spin before and was so impressed with her funky, deep Chicago house. So, so good.

2. Brunch at Red Stag with a close friend..lots of laughs, bloody marys, beers and a fab lobster egg salad sandwich.

3. Finally seeing "The King's Speech" which was amazing. It's the best movie I have seen in years. And, here comes a *MLotVL Oscar Prediction: It Will Win: Best Picture, Best Actor: Colin Firth and Best Supporting Actor: Geoffery Rush. No question.

4. Picking up Baby G at Jeff's parent's house in White Bear Lake..I love going out but am always so happy to see my lil' guy, I miss him so much when he's not by my side.

5. Dinner with some of our best friends at their lovely home near Lake Calhoun, catching up after our 6 week SoCal adventure.

6. Brunch with other best friends at their fabulous new home just across the river in St. Paul. Lots of mimos, catching up and a nice walk along the river on an almost balmy 43 degree day that felt like spring.

7. 2-for-1 mimos, sassy cocktails and house music with my gays and friends at Lush. It was my first time there and walking in I was suddenly transported to San Francisco..loved it. Some talented hula hooping girls were trying to teach me to hoop but alas, I am a lost cause..I suck. And have even more appreciation for those who can hoop to the beat. But I made a new friend, caught up with some of my favorite peeps and danced my arse off once again. As a mommy, dancing to house music twice in one weekend is a new record.

8. Coming home to my guys, some Black Sheep chicken, goat cheese, pickled pepper pizza, red wine and catching up on my Showtime stories, "Californication," and "Episodes." Loves.

9. Making VDay Pancakes for my two very special Valentine's this morning - I feel like the luckiest girl in the world to have my Jefe and my baby G and love my guys more than I ever thought possible.

10. VDay massage/steam/swim/hot tub at the Calhoun Beach Club and a fab home cooked VDay dinner of steak, tomato, avocado, mozzarella salad, balsamic reduction with my two favorite guys.
