Wednesday night, I went to yoga at the CBC, hot tubbed, steamed, etc and wanted a yummy dinner. Jefe had been working from home all day and needed to get out the house, and Gus was asleep at 8 pm because he refuses to sleep at the CBC nursery when he knows there are kids around he can play with/watch so he's usually tired after we go there. Obviously, we had to go to
Barrio - our go-to place for somewhere close (right downtown on Nicolett Mall & 10th), cheap and yummy. I love everything about this place. The flavors are divine and the prices, even better. We shared some Mexican tapas like you do there: chips, salsa and guacamole, corn chowder that was out of this world, awesome crab empanadas and an amazing soft shell crab taco with pico de gallo and watermelon tomatillo, accompanied by a fantastic margarita. I usually get the chicken enchilada and mahi mahi taco that are also fab, but wanted to mix it up and am glad we did..muy delicioso.
