Watch This Documentary: Gasland
Just another reason to love that beacon of light and hope, Dick Cheney. Yep, this truly evil, horrible man gave his fellow dark lords at Halliburton permission to contaminate the water supply of America with 594 chemicals they use to drill for natural "clean" gas with absolutely no regulations, whatsoever. The movie shows people able to light their tap water on fire due to all the chemicals. This is not okay. And needs to stop ASAP. Unfortunately the oil industry has so much money they basically do whatever they want with no consequences at all (see BP.)
