4th of July Weekend Highlights:

 *Strawberry daquaris by the Calhoun Beach Club pool w my friend fourfeet spinning poolside, (which he does every Friday afternoon from 1-5 pm.) Can't beat that setup on a warm summer day..especially since they have free childcare and Gus can chill while we work out, swim, sauna, steam, hot tub and sip slushy drinks by the pool.
* Backyard birthday party for the cutest, sweetest little 2-year-old girl I know.
*Watching the incredible Twins/Target Field Fireworks show from our roofdeck while sipping vodka basil lemonades - basil courtesy of our abundant roofdeck herb garden. I love fireworks, and having the city skyline as a backdrop is a pretty sweet way to see them.
*Boating and Floating on Lake Minnetonka all day long with good friends, and many UV Pink Lemonade cocktails.
*Jet Skiing on the lake our friends live on near Forest Lake - really need to go visit them more often.
*Annual family 4th of July BBQ in White Bear Lake where all the extended family got to meet Gus for the first time - he was a hit, of course.
*Walking down to River Road to catch the Minneapolis fireworks show, which was a bit short, but good.
*Meeting up with friends on the patio of 414 Sound Bar for a few drinks..we ran into the fab owners who set us up in their VIP outdoor lounge and sent out a bottle of bubbly - always much appreciated.
*Lots of chilling on the roofdeck with my guys..my favorite place to be on a warm summer night.
